Resilient Cities Forum 2025: Building Thriving Urban Futures

Date: 7 to 9 December 2025
Location: London

Erisa Nesimi from the EBRD Green Cities team will join the roundtable “Resilience Finance, Risk and the Governance of Inevitability” as part of the Resilient Cities Forum 2025 on 8 December 2025.

From roads and bike lanes to wetlands and housing, resilient infrastructure is about more than concrete and steel, it’s about how cities plan, finance, and deliver for the future. This discussion brings together leaders from government, business, and civil society to explore how public–private partnerships can deliver climate-ready transport systems, flood defences, and real estate development. We’ll also examine housing as both a supply challenge and a resilience opportunity - from availability to climate-smart materials.

The Resilient Cities Forum will explore the nexus between strengthening community resilience and embedding risk-aware, data-driven approaches to urban governance. We will focus on three key pillars: Communities, Technology and Finance.
